jmanpuller Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 If you have a favorite place to go for parts that is fast, easy, and reasonable for sims I would like to here from you. We have around three or four dealers in our county but Im not impressed with any of them. Thanks for any input!
RayS Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Alot of people are happy with Sandy lake and they are a sponsor of this site. I bought a revitalizer from them a few years ago at the Portland show and Bill is a excellent person to deal with and knows his stuff. Never dealt with Jack`s but have read alot of post on here about people that are and are not happy with there service. Jack`s prices seem to be 20% less than everyone elses if you feel like dealing with their service. as far as their service goes I am only going by what I have read in others post on here. Do a search on sponsors and you will come up with alot of post over the years. I tend to buy my stuff locally at the dealer that I bought my new tractor from. They usually have the stuff that I need in stock when I need it.
firefoxz1 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I like Jack's Small Engine because when I order I'm usually ordering parts for other brands also (I repair mowers on the side and have a tax number) and I get the parts in a couple days. I can also order online without calling at my convenience 24/7. The only problem I have with them is if there is a non-stock part they have to order they don't inform you and the rest of the parts just sit there waiting for a complete order to ship. I have bought thousands of dollars of parts over the last 4 yrs and have only been upset twice with their shipping policy, and the one time they even shipped the B/O part free later after a complaint. I would say for most people on this site looking for that one part for their Simp-A/C Sandy Lakes is probably the better choice from what I have read here.
Bret4207 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I'm trying Sandy Lake for the rest of what I need to rebuild my bevel gear box. I'm way, way less than thrilled with Jacks.
JMAC Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I have been very pleased with these people http://www.sepw.com/pages/1/default.htm.
MDB Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I have used Sandylake, SEPW and Jacks, and can honestly say that I have had very good dealings with all three^
