where to get engine parts

I've had good results with my local NAPA dealer. NAPA cross-references most Briggs and Stratton parts (from carburetor rebuild kits and head gaskets to valves). Prices are reasonable, and parts are generally readily available. The only thing you will need is the engine model number to identify the engine to correctly specify the part. There are also some 'on-line' parts retailers. There are links to a couple of them on this site's home page. I do not have any experience with them, however, Jack's Small Engine Parts has been very slow at responding to an email I sent over a week ago requesting more information on a part. Good Luck, TK
