Jovee Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I've been searching around both S/A sites looking for a parts listing that I thought was here somewhere. I smoked an outside deck pulley on my 5212.5 yesterday and thought it would be in the manual but is wasnt. Can someone point me to what I can't find?
Ryno Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Jovee go to Jackssmallengines.com click on the parts look up and u should be able to find it. I just did it quick for your tractor and theres a lot of choices but not knowing specific details thats all i can tell you.. Good luck -Ryan-
Jovee Posted May 28, 2006 Author Posted May 28, 2006 Thanks Ryan - I went thru there and didn't see anything relevant. I could have swore there was something here in this site that had part numbers and diagrams. Losing my mind again -
UCD Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 There is this thing called a parts manual. Simplicity publishes one for each piece of equipment it makes. The best thing is that they can be downloaded free. Can also be done quick. It is as simple as going to the home page and on the right side where it says Search for Manuals at Simplicity Mfg. There is a box next to MFG NO: in this box type the MFG# for the item you are looking for parts for. then click on search this will give you a list of parts and operators manuals for it. Click on the one you are interested in and download it. The nice part about this is you won't have to ask someone else to look up part #'s for you again. Don't Know the MFG#? Go to the Simplicity Tech-pub site and download a Belt and blade manual. In the back of this manual is a list of all the Simplicity, Allis Chalmers, Agco Allis and Massy Ferguson MFG #'s You will need Adobe reader installed in your computer. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the PDF documents and can be downloaded free from Adobe. here After you download the file and adobe opens it on the left side in the tool bar click on save a copy and save it to your computer.
Bret4207 Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 UNder what section do youdownload the belt and blade guide? I looked around, but didn't see anything. Thanks.
Bret4207 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 UCD- Do I type "900" in the "MFG#" and it's supposed to come up? I don't get anything with that. Sorry if I'm a bit dense, ut the belt and blade guide sounds like what I need. Thanks, Bret
PatRarick Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Bret, check out this link. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32436 Pat
Jovee Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 Maynard, If you read the first post you'll see I already tried the manual (which I downloaded in January when I got the tractor). The tech pub place was probably the place I was looking for but as stated I couldnt remember what it was or where it was. I didnt ask anyone to give me the part number, just where it was to research. Sorry I'm stupid -
UCD Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I just looked in the 5200 series parts manuals (5200H & 5200G) and both numbers for both pulleys are listed for the 36" and 3 pulleys (2 part #'s)for the 42" and 48" decks. 36" 1655839 & 1673109 Page 34 & 35 Manual TP-400-1093-03 5200H 42" 48" 1665476 2 ea & 1665347 1 ea Manual Tp-400-1092-02 5200G
Jovee Posted May 31, 2006 Author Posted May 31, 2006 You must have a different manual than me. The manual I downloaded for 5200 series from the site for my H and pages 34 and 35 have specifications on them. Page 36 has common replacement parts and they arent listed there either. I used the dealer locator on Simp Mfg and found a store a little out of range but somewhat close to my new route. I will try and sneak in there this week -
