From these pictures, you can see that one of your Kohlers will actually fit in one of these older tractors. Actually, I moved my grille and raised my hood on that tractor because of another engine that I had in it before this one. You can see that the engine is no higher than the gas tank, and the front of the engine is right at the front of the frame. You may have to move your grille forward approximately 1 inch at the bottom for clearance, and you will have to work with the exhaust to get the pipe outside the hood. It should be very close.
