PhanDad Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Here are some pics of my lawn where I used a revitalizer to overseed my lawn this spring (grubs destroyed some large areas last year): Although it may not look it, I'm pleased with the results. It's been a very dry spring - we've gotten 1 to 2 inches of rain in a day or so about every 3 to 4 weeks - not good for seedlings. As you can see, only the seeds that fell in the "trenches" survived. Couldn't water the entire lawn enough for the seeds "on top" to survive. May try again in the fall.
ZippoVarga Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 May fill out as the season progresses. Keep us posted!!
GWGAllisfan Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 What's the best way to get rid of those grubs? I seem to have several dead areas in the lawn like that.
Roy Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Chemicals or milky spore (available at Home Depot & garden supply stores). Was some discussion on this in the past. Do a site search for grubs or milky spore.
