A/C Homelites - Non Centered Steering Wheel

In the 30 plus years I've used the Homelite T-12, I never realized the steering wheel is off center until I was using the hood to take pics for the replacement seat post: [img]/club2/attach/phandad/SteerWheel_001.jpg[/img] [img]/club2/attach/phandad/SteerWheel_002.jpg[/img] The steering wheel is in the original position, the dash decal was cut back when the steering wheel sleeve had to be rewelded. I don't notice the offset when operating the tractor. Do any other Simplicity A/C tractors have off center steering wheels?

All of the B-series Allis and pre-3300 series Simplicity, though it's not as noticeable due to the design of the dash. Your Allis built Homelite is the B-series frame and steering. Pat

My 535 serf wheel is also offset.

THe 300's and 400's are offset as well,
