Petrol Tank

Hi Guys, My petrol tank has split down the one side on my Simplicity 4108. Any ideas on repair, or the best place to get a new one. Cheers Jamer

If you have the part number it may still be available through a Simplicity dealer. You can also check if you have the number at this website. Since it is a newer tractor they may still be available. If you don`t have a parts manual you can get one from the Simplicity site. Some radiator repair shops will do fuel tank repair. Tom

I am guessing this is a plastic tank, I have seen poeple weld them with a wide tip sodering gun.

I would do a temperary replacement and keep an eye on ebay for an exact replacement. I thought I saw a rolling stock 4100 series on ebay for a low price

The tank has a new number of 1687038 and is a kit. Price is just over 60$. Still available from any Simplicity dealer. Patched tanks are not a good way to go Paul
