MrSteele Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 While I have my tractor apart to rebuild the BGB, I might also do a little restoration to some of the other systems. The dash has two frozen switches on it. One, I'll assume is headlights. Any idea as to what the other might be?
RayS Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 The only switches that i am aware of are a starter switch, ignition switch and a toggle for lights. More than likely someone added the other if it is a toggle switch.
MrSteele Posted June 14, 2006 Author Posted June 14, 2006 Neither switch is a toggle, both pull out to activate. One is for lights, the other is wired, but goes nowhere. I was wondering where it may have been connected. As for an electric PTO, there is nothing on the tractor to support that theory. Perhaps it was, and has been removed over the years?

I also doubt the electric PTO since they wouldn't readily fit on this tractor and would require some creative engineering. My guess is for a rear work light on a separate circuit from the headlights...
firefoxz1 Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 My 2010 has headlights but still no switch in the dash. Both headlight housings have a toggle switch in them to turn on the lights. I believed this to be factory?. Both switches are probably add-ons and would quess Kent's assumption that one was for headlights and one for a rear work light.
