Fitting a regular snowblower onto a tractor

Recommended Posts

I have a large snow blower in the garage without an engine. As far as I can tell, I think I could probably modify it to run on my Allis B-210 by using the pulley on the front PTO and run it off there in place of the engine. Has anyone ever done this? Should I keep the wheels on the snowblower on, or just remove it altogether and fabricate a lift system? (I don't have any welding skills, but I can bolt and nut) At this point, I'm thinking of keeping the wheels on, (always kept in neutral) and fabriciate a simple mount to go on the front, that will bolt right on using existing holes on the tractor. My only concern is lifting it and lowering it. Need a simple system for that. I do have a hydraulic lift, but as I said, I don't have any welding skills. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

Not sure I can give any advise about modifing that to fit your tractor. If you keep your eye on ebay you can pick them up cheap during the summer and at swap meets as well.
