Boney Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Saw this and thought it was a good idea, the hoist I mean not the kind of tractor. =:)
dirtsaver Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Not a bad idea, but I'd be scared to use it as it is. Just my opinnion, but the hoist is too high to be safe and I'd want a couple hundred pounds of weight on the front to hold it down. The Airens frame should be strong enough. Better than an MTD anyway.
msiebern Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Saw that one too Boney. I have often wished I had something like that for moving decks and such around for storage. Dirtsaver: As far as the weight, the owner posted this bit about it. ""But with the blade on the front, it will lift the rear of my wifes toyota pickup off the ground & keeps the front wheels down. It will also lift a dressed 350 chevy engine high nough to put in the back of a truck."" But pulling style wheelie bars would be a good idea.
dirtsaver Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Thanks for the info Mike. I agree a heavy duty blade would be enough weight. Let's see.....I have the pipe...now to find the cylinder and spool controls.....
