I have a 1973 Homelite t-16h lawn/garden tractor. It has a 16hp Briggs engine with a one (1) piece flo-jet carbuator. The throttel arm/link bushings are going or gone. Would like to find a decent used one or new one. Also looking for fornt mounted snow thrower attachment. This was my fathers tractor when he sold and serviced them in 1973. I have had it since he passed away in 1995. Other than a few minor problems it is by far a better tractor than I have ever had. Thnaks for any help. Roger

Roger, let me be the first to welcome you to the club. Best bet on finding a replacement carb. is to check with some of the site sponsors or place a wanted add in our classified section. That way we keep this area a little neater. If you have specific problems on your carb. then ask those here and maybe someone can help you find some solutions rather than replacing the old one. If you go to the top tool bar and click the discussions section the menu page explaining where most forums are and the content lies you'll better understand where things are. Again, welcome and enjoy. Dave.

Welcome Roger. Take a cruise through the clubhouse and the Simpletractors site that graciously hosts the club site and you will find more information than you'd believe on Simplicity/Allis/Homelite and all the associated brands made by Simplicity. I reccomend springing the $10 membership dues to access the complete site. Even more info and one of the best fellowship groups on the web. By the way...good to see another ham in the club. That makes close to twenty of us here now!

Roger, new bushings and the shaft are still available and a lot cheaper then a carb. If you can't get from your dealer send me an E-mail as I just bought for myself.
