stevenj Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Can anyone tell me if the front blade for an A-C 300 Series attaches to the frame or to the front axle? If it does attach to the frame, does there seem to be any benefit over attaching to the axle like the large frame tractors? Thanks,
maxtorman1234 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Hello, the blade attaches to the frame, with special mounting brackets. The blade attachment seems to be heavier duty than the other tractors that attach to the front axle, however the blade moves with the axle on the other tractors, which will allow you to scrape/push level with the grade. I would rather have a blade attached to the front axle than the frame.
wilm169 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 The type that attaches to the front axel as on the 3300-7100 will work I have 3 of them, and no frame mounts just a set of the brackets.:D The snow blower is the same but you need a differant hitch that is hard to find.:(
