lboy1971 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Anyone know what the small hole is for in the middle of the front axle on the landlord tractors? Not the pivot hole either, it's on a flat metal strip that is parallel to the axle beam but a couple inches behind it.
mwells Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 If your looking at the tractor from the front, and you see the piviot bolt and to the side of that is a little hole? If thats the one your talking about, I think it was used for shipping purposes, not sure but I've been told that before.
lboy1971 Posted July 23, 2006 Author Posted July 23, 2006 The hole I'm talking about is about 2-3 inches behind the front of the axle and behind the pivot bolt. It's in a flat piece of bar stock about 1/8-1/4 thick,1" wide and 6-8"s long. It's laying flat where as the axle is on edge.
