portuncia Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 there is an Ebay auction for teeth with a part number of 25-802541, I have a sickle bar but still have to go get it, 3 hours away. The attachments manual for the B-112 lists the part number as 2025206 can anyone with experience tell if these ebay teeth will work? TIA
wilm169 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 the sections on ebay are 3" and the ones for the haban 47" Bs and simplicities are 2" {if we are talking about the same ones}
Guest Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Has anyone seen if you can still get the teeth from Simplicity? I've not checked, but I've been quite impressed with Simplicity stocking "wear parts". Otherwise, your SOL if you break a unique bracket or some non-wear items.
ehertzfeld Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I believe the older Gravley teeth are the same size. Don't know if there still available or not, but I think they will work. Elon
HubbardRA Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 At the time we went to GOTO in NY two summers ago, Sandy Lake had sicklebar mower teeth for sale. They may still have some. I should have bought some extras. At that time they had the regular teeth, but didn't have the ones with the bolt holes in them. I think they were around $5 each. You may try checking with them.
wilm169 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 There was a post on here a while back about sears being the same also with the part #s on how to find them. I think JD IH and others are the same, as for garden tractors
msiebern Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 A guy told me to try sections for Jari mowers. They are still in business and producing parts. I haven't tried them yet, but at $2.55 per knife section, it would be worth ordering a couple to see how close they match up. They are the smooth sections, not the serrated. http://www.year-a-round.com/jari_mowers.html
