Simplicity Model 725

My dad completely restored a Simplicity Model 725 garden tractor last year. It looks wonderful, and runs great! We think it is a 1962? It has a 7 1/4 HP Briggs & Straton engine with an electric start. It has a 32" mower deck and a 42" snow blade. Is there any websites where dad can go to get an idea of what the tractor may be worth since he restored it? I don't think he wants to sell it, but I suppose if he did get a fair offer he might part with it? I have several photos of it if I can figure out where and how to upload them to this forum? Thanks, Tim in NE Ohio

Hello and welcome to the club. If you look around the site long enough, you will get an idea of the cost. I think tanman said it about right. You can find other implements for the 725. I think the 725 is a 1963. They had 700's (7 hp.)from 1959 to 1962 (I think). If you go to the simpletractors pull down menu (under simplicity) you can find all kinds of historical information about the tractor and its implements. Good luck, JH

Thank you for the info so far, I like this group already, and even though dad doesn't have a computer (yet) I may join as a club member to be able to post photos. Thanks guys, and always happy to get tips/hints/tricks and suggestions about the 725.
