Deutz-Allis 917

Recommended Posts

Found a Deutz-Allis 917 today. Looked at it quickly, looks like it has cut a lot of grass. The owner said it had power steering. Didn't have the time to try it out. The gent said he wanted $2000 for it. He said it was a 1988 model. Sounded like a high price to me. Any comments anyone?

Guess it depends on the overall condition of the tractor. Take a look at my 1983 7116H which I gave $950 for with two vac units and the dump trailer/collector. Runs great, mows like new. Friend of mine just bought a 3416H with a 48" deck and an almost new mid-mount grader blade (Which he is selling to me!) for $450. It needs a rear hub but other than that runs and looks great. To me it sounds a little high but I have not seen it. Rob[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/gallery/rob_troughton.htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/gallery/rob_troughton.htm[/a]
