Will a trans from a 6011 fit a 6010 Simplicity? Any suggestions on how to get rims off of the rusted axles?

I believe they will interchange - also check the axle sizes if you don't also have the rims. I think they went from 7/8 to 1". You will probably need to heat it up to a real "well done" with a torch.

Thank you Jeff the axles were different. By heating them up we got them off without damaging the rims. Now here is how we did it. We put it in a 55 gallon barrel and slid two bar stocks underneith the rim of one wheel. Next we heated the rim housing on the axle and took a big bar and stuck it down the shaft of the rim housing and hit it with a maul. They both came out that way. Thanks again.

Very good Bear! One of my guys also suggested welding a 5/8 nut onto the outside of the rim and using a 12" bolt and impact if they get real onery!
