Kent 435 Posted November 1, 2000 I've tried to find Gator Blades for my B-210 with 42" deck, and can't find any -- they aren't listed on Jack's site (only 42" right side), and I stopped by my local dealer and he couldn't find any that were shown to fit.... Anyone been able to find them for the old B-series with 42" deck? I MUST replace my blades this winter and had hoped to use Gators -- if not those, what high-lift blades would you suggest, since I use the vacuum/cart combo a lot.... Kent 435 Posted November 1, 2000 It should have said that they are NOT listed on Jack's site. I don't know if they even make these... Other club members have talked about Gator Blades on older machines -- were they on 48" decks or 42" decks? I can't find a part number or any other info for the correct 42" Gator Blades... Kevin, if you or anyone can find out, or find the blades, I'd be grateful...
richp 0 Posted November 1, 2000 Kent, I think Jack's recently revised their Gator Blade pages. Are the blades for your B-210 deck different than the Simplicity 42" deck? I know the their Gator Blade #90-942 states they are for a 48" deck BUT, look at the Simplicity number (1656144) which is the blade for a 42" deck. Also, the blade length is 14.5" which is the length for a 42" deck. The 48" deck listing may be a typo. richp 0 Posted November 1, 2000 I bought mine from Mark Waite at University Lawn Equipment and I know that he can get them. Let me know if all else fails as a just in case. Cheers, >>->happyjack<-<<
richp 0 Posted November 1, 2000 Kent, If your B-210 does not use the 1656144 14.5" blade, you may want to contact the Gator Blade company to determine if one is made for your deck.[A href='http://www.gatorblade.com/']http://www.gatorblade.com/[/a]

Al 6 Posted November 2, 2000 Hi Kent, After re-reading your question again and your statement about using your vac. system alot I would not suggest using the gator-blades as I do not feel they would give you the type of lift you need for your purpose. The gatorblades are for mulching and are not a high lift blade. I would stay with the Simplicity high lift blade that are intended for your system otherwise you will be downgrading the operation of your vac system. Other wise my experience with these blades has been very possitive. Best to all, >>->happyjack<-<<
