A cloud of smoke.

Occaisionally when I start my Prestige I'll get a huge cloud of blueish smoke that clears up right away. It probably does this about half the time. The oil level has been staying the same so it can't be burning too much oil. What could be causing this?

Could be just enough oil settles on top the piston, like it drains off the cyl walls after it sits, to give you the puff of smoke on start-up.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
