what holds the PTO on?

what holds the PTO assembly on? the pulley assembly that holds the double pulley where you put on belt for the mower deck and the unit that has the big pulley that is on the pto itself came off. the double pulley is loose when you insert pulley notch to the woodruff key. should that be replaced?

If the woodruff key is in good shape, it doesn't have to be replaced. As wilm169 said, it's just a matter of tightening the set screw on the pulley itself. On some pulleys, the screw is located in between the grooves of the pulley. (The 'V' of the pulley) On some pulleys, they are set in the metal spacer section of the pulley, either in front or behind the 'V' of the pulley.
