I HAVE JUST GOTTEN MY GRANDFATHERS 7112 AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT. I HAVE BEEN EVERYWHERE TRYING TO FIND PARTS AND ATTACHMENTS! THIS MOWER WAS IN GOOD SHAPE AT ON TIME BUT WITH IT SITTING IN THE BARN AND NO ONE AROUND TO USE IT TIME HAS DONE ITS DAMAGE. LET SAY IT HAS DONE A GOOD JOB. MY GRANDPA LOVED THIS OLD MACHINE AND CARED FOR IT UNTILL HE WAS NOT ABLE. NOW THAT IT IS MINE I LIKE TO MAKE HIM PROUD IN GIVING THIS TRACTOR A NEW LIFE. I WAS JUST ABOUT TO GIVE UP WHEN I FOUND YOUALL AND THAUGHT YOU COULD HELP. I AM INTERESTED IN ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE TRACTORS. I DONT KNOW MUCH BUT AM WILLING AND WAITING TO LEARN. THERE ARE NO BOOKS ON HOW TO REBUILD THESE IN MY AREA. MOSTLY JUST BOOKS ABOUT DEERES.CAN I STILL GET PARTS AND ATTACHMENTS? WHAT ABOUT A BOOK TO REBUILD AND UNDERSTAND HOW THINGS WORK? PLEASE ANY INFO WILL BE WELL RECEAVED. P.S SORRY ABOUT MY WRITEING AND COMPUTER SKILLS TWO THINGS I NOT VERY GOOD AT! THANKS AGIN

Josh, parts and manuals and info are plentiful. Just take some time and look around the site and the clubhouse. You'll have plenty to read and learn. Also just so you know, upper case caps are considered yelling when typeing on the computer so please lower your caps. This makes it much easier to read too. Welcome and enjoy.

did not know that they ment i was yelling. my wife say i peck at the key board like a chicken. having trouble my way around . were do i go to get the info? is the club house a chat room? thanks for your help mr.d-17-dave hopefully i get use to this dern thing and learn my way around!

Go here: [url]http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/techpubsearch.php[/url] Then in the little box at the bottom you type in the model number thats on the little silver ID tag that is on you tractor and on each attachment( unless its been lost or painted over). Then you can download most of the manuals associated with the equipment.

Josh welcome to the site. I think we all started out with the hunt and peck system of typing. Don't worry you will get better at it. thank you everyone for the help! mr. goat farmer any info on the 7112s like where to buy manuals and rebuild guids to a book how things hookup and work to parts and attachments. still looking on this web site and doing a little better thanks agin youall are a great bunch tractor lovers and i thank you

Kingfish, You don't have to buy the manuals. Just do as SmilinSam said above. Simplicity lets you download most of their manuals at no cost. I downloaded the manual for my 7116H. In fact I have downloaded several manuals from that site.

You can download free every manual Simplicity has from their 2 sites. I have 905 Simplicity, Allis Chalmers and Homelite owners, parts, electrical and repair manuals in my computer. From the early walking tractors all the way up to and including the Legacy XL 4x4 along with all the manuals for all of the attachments. If simplicity has a manual for it you can download it. If you have a MFG# use this site. Josh: Welcome! Get the numbers off your tractor, go to the simplicity link that smilin sam sent, put your model numbers in the box and press enter, they will give you the different manuals available for your tractor, click on the one you want, your computer will go to Adobe, which is a program for looking at drawings and you will be able to see your manuals. If your computer is older your version of Adobe may need updating, it will ask you if you would like to update, just click on yes. You have found the Holy Grail for Simplicity and Allis Chalmers garden tractors. Your Grandpa will be proud.

Welcome Josh! You came to the rite place to find out any thing you need to know about your tractor,everyone here is very helpfull,It's like a hole nother family of tractor nutty people that just love these old tractors,be carefull because these things can get get very addictive good luck in getting the 7112 back in running order;)

Welcome Josh! As you can see, there is a lot of available information for these little tractors. And a lot of great people here that are willing to help you as you get your 7112 going again. By the way Josh, I'm also in Kentucky,about 50 miles north of Louisville in Bedford so if you're ever up this way stop in and have a cup of coffee.

Kenny you caught me8! Actually Bedford is northeast of Louisville, basicly on a line between Louisville and Cinncinatti. A fellow can't get by with anything nowadays:o).

Fellas I know it has been a long time since I have written but I have been busy doing many things. Good knews though I got that old 7112 running. Thats all I did is to get it to run. Boy this old thing is rough looking and sounding. Poping kracking backfiring and stalling out, and by the way the muffler has rusted half off so it is NOISY. Hope to start rebuilding this thing soon so thanks for all the help.

no not yet. still trying to find a dealer pretty close to home to buy the reuild kit. its a 14 horse koler most everything were i live is a tecumsie or briggs.
