Sno-Away Belt Cover

Recommended Posts

I just finished the resto on my Simplicity Sno-Away 4 990482 Rubber Tire. It's complete except I never had a belt cover for it. It's trapezoid in shape the ones I've seen are black with a hole for the muffler. I tried over a dozen places with emails and phone calls and no dice. I think I'll have to wait it out until I find a real junker on eBay with one to part out. If anyone wants to see my machine I have pics on opeonthenet.com forum. It came out really good.

I can't actually imagine anything on the machine itself breaking. The engine seems to be the weakest link. Simplicity made them beefy.. Here in the Northeast (Outside Philly) We normally get 6-10 inches of snow, but sometimes hit with 20.. I can see my machine chewing it up and asking for more.. The Deere 826 is a nice machine. I've been looking for a large frame Simplicity with a popped engine to soup up. V Twin Vanguard or Generac Repower! Thanks for the Sandy Lake Contact. I sent them the email I've been using everywhere. I'm not getting my hopes up.
