Birthday Present

Recommended Posts

I have a birthday coming up next week. This is what the wife got me. I had to go get it and assemble it myself. First big one that I have ever had. Now I have to clear out a place to park it.

"Now I have to clear out a place to park it." Don't worry about that Rod, I'll clean a place out here in my shop and you can park it here.[:0]:D Happy pre birthday to you.8D

Rod, Next time I come up I can drive the truck and help you clean out your garage. You have way too many tools anyway. :D

That's how a lot of us got started. The next dilema will proably be that Rod will have to go back to Sears with credit card in hand so he can fill up some of those empty drawers, maybe.:D:D:D

Nice toolbox! I have one similar to that one, but it only has the first 2 boxes. Holds a lot. :)

I can barely get my nose over the front to see in the top compartment. As Roy said (He was in my garage this week on a visit), I will not have a problem filling it up. In fact, I could fill up two or three more of them. Guess Christmas is coming up. I wonder? Doubt it!

I have an older version of the same size. I can't put all the tools away. Have multiple boxes. One in the house garage, one in the Woodshop/workshop. An soon one in the new garage. My motto I guess is you can never have too many tools or tractors:D:D:D. GegB

Rod, May I suggest gluing a mirror on the underside of the top cover so you can see in there without having to stand on your toes to look in.

Congratulations! Forget cleaning the old garage, just build a new, bigger one! Deidra

I'd suggest removing the 3-drawer intermediate chest and just place it on the workbench next to where you park the toolbox. I use the top compartment to hold all my sockets. It's probably the most used compartment. If you continually have to stretch to get anything out, it'll become a pain.

Very nice! Once you get it loaded up I wish you luck in remembering what you put where. Seems like I waste a lot of time pulling out drawers, looking and pushing them back in. Oh... and a Happy Birthday to ya!

Happy Birthday Rod, I think there could be a hidden reason for the box!
