NO LIFT LEVER

Well fellas as I said in my last post I got that old 7112 home and running. It,s running rough cracking and backfireing but not bad for sitting in a barn for the last six years. But back to my question this 7112 has no hydro lift lever. It does have markings on the dash for a button or swith, but there is nothing there and a cap over the opening. Is that right? If it is can I still run attachments?

Most dash's had the decal for the electric lift, some on the dash, some on the column next to the key. Some were equiped with hydro lifts, others had the manual lift lever on the left. No matter what yours had it should have the lift shaft cross rod in the belly of the tractor. You'll need this shaft and lift cables to use a deck. For rear attachments you'll also need the rear lift receiver and cable whitch were ad on options. The belly lift parts were standard. Plus some form of power or the lever.

If that tractor is a hydro drive, you should be able to install a hyd lift. They show up on E-Bay from time to time. I just helped a member install one and overall wasn't too bad, time wise.

My AC712H has the electric lift. It has no markings or decal on the dash,just a non descript toggle switch.
