Scott Salmons 7 Posted October 24, 2006 Here is the Case that I picked up a couple of weeks ago:) I have decided to sell this if anyone is interested. The reason is because the co-worker that give it to me found out last Sunday that his wife has Leukemia, he is staying with her for at least a month in the hospital while she undergoes chemo thearapy. We took up a collection at work and got together over a $1000 but with a family at home and bills that won't last long. I will sell this to whoever wants it and give the money to Matt. He is a real stand up guy that would do anything for anybody and is a lot of fun to be around. Please contact me through E-mail if you know of anyone that would be interested in it. Maynard sorry for not putting this in classifieds I wanted everyone to see the pics. Keep Matt his wife and family in your prayers. Thanks Scott

Ketchamized 2 Posted October 25, 2006 Scott, Nice tractor. If I lived in Indiana right now, I'd check it out. Unfortunately, this is not until January. (Moving there in Jan) Best of luck in raising money for your co-worker. It's heavy on the heart knowing that a friend's loved one is in such a situation. Just a thought, perhaps you could set up a paypal donation thing where people can donate via paypal? Another thought, perhaps guys here that has extra parts, extra tractors, etc, could give to you to sell on ebay to raise the money?
Scott Salmons 7 Posted October 25, 2006 The tractor is located about 6 miles north of Kokomo, IN. Thats a good idea Erick, if he has to stay out of work for very long that may be a possiblity. I am thinking of fabricating a few tool boxes for the B series tractors to raise a little money, everybody seems interested in them right now and they would be fairly easy to make, something like the box that Ambler had a picture of in another post. D-17_Dave 12 Posted October 25, 2006 Just as I thought, the Briggs in it is a swap out. It should have a Kohler. It's also missing the fan on the engine behind the cooler. Otherwise cept for the missing emblem it looks to be all orriginal and in decent shape.

jdm 0 Posted October 26, 2006 Geez. I would like to give thousands, but I can't. My wife is battling Breast cancer at this time. It seems kind of petty of me to be dealing for a tractor amongst all this, but what do you need to have for it? Like I said, I'm pretty close. Thanks, Jim. Scott Salmons 7 Posted October 26, 2006 Jim, sorry to hear about your wife, I am sure it is a tough time for you as well. As far as the price I don't know a thing about pricing on the Case tractors so whoever comes across with the most will haul it home.
CHolmes 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Who made the Case tractors of this vintage? Was it Simplicity?
Killer_A-C 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Case bought COLT manufacturing in 1964. My friend Bill Gannaway from W-S,NC has a 150 and a 155 both in excellent condition and we are going next Friday to PA to get two COLTS that are identical to the Case other than the color. They are nice little tractors with smooth hyd drive. Hope you can bring yours back to new condition,Matt
