If you look at my Picture Gallery, I have a 725 that I thought was original. If you think they are the same, I'll make some photographs of that. Just let me know. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/uploaded/michaelg221/the725.jpg

Hmmmm, is that what mine should look like on the 725? Think I'll make a strap bracket like that for the Landlord as now my lense is getting black from exaut from my side exauting muffler. Never mind the first quewstion, just remembered the 725 is suppose to be a cyclops. :(

I don't think I have ever seen a B1 with lights claiming to be original. I also have never seen one on Simple trACtors ether.

I'll edit this with dimensions later. These are from my 725, looks fairly original. Has through hole bolts. The lights were repaired and have rivits through them as a repair (done before I got this), so don't be confused with the slight silver on the lights in the photo's. By the way, looking at Maynard's posted sketch, the B1 probably had different bends in the bracket than the 700/725's. Front1

Front2

Rear1 (will try to get better shots)

The PAR 36 can be bought at Napa; looks closest. Something like $50 each.

If you notice the headlights on the 725 had the chrome ring. The 63LL has pictures of a chrome ring also. Never found out if that was a standard or not.

Elon, I have seen 2 B1's with front and rear lights. Both had the mounting bracket Maynard pictured and both had the switch on the light with the chrome rims. From what I have noticed, the chrome rim along with the switch in the light was used through the introduction of the Big 10's. It was standard, not sure if optional compared to the black rim lights. It seems that after about 1964 most tractors had a switch in the dash and the black rim lights. Paul, keep your eyes open on eBay for original ones, in my opinion, they do look the best. I have a few near perfect lights, including chrome rim ones, I will be putting on there hopefully in a few weeks.
