I don't think that is right. My Legacy (same model) turns easy, fast or slow. The only time I feel some resistance is when it is hot and the engine is idling, which it shouldn't be operated at anyway. It may be time for a second opinion.

Sam, First, welcome to the Club. Second, not familiar with a 2025 agco allis but my new Sovereign (purchased in September, 1999) has always had that problem. Think it is an inherent defect. Suspect the hydraulic pump is undersized for the transmission and steering at the same time. Hate to say it but your dealer may be right.

There are a few variables here to deal with that could cause some differances between models. However, the only way to truly diagnose the issue is to put a flow meter and test gauges in the hydraulic system. This is only justified if you feel there is a real problem and your willing to pay someone with the equipment and knowlegde of the system to check it out. The charge pumps were never really ment to run this many extra circuts that may include power steering and hydro-lift as well as to do their intended job of supplying charge flow into the hydro-static pump for propultion. Of course there also may be some small restiction somewhere in a line reduceing the flow hindering the performance of the steering. And BTW, welcome to the club.
