dirtsaver 1 Posted October 27, 2006 Mark I think that's the first small frame tractor I've seem with a cab. Looks like you've done a good job adapting the Bolens cab. As time goes by I'm sure you'll make more improvements to the setup.
skot71 0 Posted October 27, 2006 That looks good! But I'm sure it will WORK good, and that's what matters. Good job.
Roy 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Outstanding job on making the cab serviceable and looking good. Congratulations. ^

shanhamm 0 Posted October 28, 2006 the cab looks nice mark. how did you end up attaching it? self drilling screws?
MarksA-C 93 Posted October 28, 2006 No, not at all. I actually made a set up that had studs in my hood and fenders so all I heed to do is bolt it down with 1 locknut on each corner. I drilled the hole and fed the bolt up through the hole. I added a locknut and a standard nut and tightened it. the I just put the cab mounts onto these "studs" and added the washer and nylon lock-nut. Works really nicely and its easy to take on and off. MPH 12 Posted October 28, 2006 Looks like it'll keep the snow off of you too me, that's what matters the most with a blower on the front. Don't look half bad either. Nice retrofit.
MarksA-C 93 Posted October 28, 2006 Here is the bolt pattern I was talking about.
Scott Salmons 7 Posted October 28, 2006 Nice Job Mark!
MN_FISH 0 Posted October 28, 2006 You'll be really proud of it when you put it to work and you are nice and comfy ^inside. One thing left to do is get some white duct tape to put over the Bolens:D;)
MarksA-C 93 Posted October 28, 2006 quote: Stated by-MN Fish One thing left to do is get some white duct tape to put over the Bolens;):D Why should I do that? I like it the way it is, it works and thats the bast part. I have to be careful not to take any hills wrong because my pivot point is in the middle and the cab is mounted to the front and the back. SimpleTom 4 Posted October 28, 2006 Mark, You're welcome for the pictures. It was nice meeting you and your brother and seeing your collection. I wish I could have stayed longer but with the cold weather and the cold that I currently have I probably shouldn't have been out as long as I was. Next time you come over to my place and check out my heard of Broadmoors. Tom

jjouelle 0 Posted November 19, 2006 In my book, function beats appearence every time. The one detail I noticed (I'm surprised nobody said anything about it) was the little American flag in the upper corner of the cab. That made the whole thing perfect for me, enjoy ^
MarksA-C 93 Posted November 24, 2006 Finnaly, your the first to notice the flag. I still need to patch it up then I'm ready to go! Well, and get my set of rear rims fixed and get the chains on and wait for Wminmi to come to WI. Can't wait for it to be finished! Thank You All!
