Electric lift for 7016

Hey guys! Got a question for you. I have a 7016 with a manual lift. When my grandfather bought it new in '78, it had an electric lift installed. I understand that at one point the lift "burned up" and the dealer changed it out for a manual lift. The wiring and switch still exist and I have the owner's manual to the lift also. Here's what I'm getting at...I am interested in swapping the manual back to the electric. I don't even know where to get started on this project. Are they still readily available, etc. etc.?? The hydraulic lift Jeff spoke of would be nice, but down here in SE GA nobody has even heard of Simplicity. What a disadvantage, huh? Thanx for your help. Smokey

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
