Boney 0 Posted December 30, 2006 I have a 725 and have been giving some thought of how it may be nice to have a Hydro Lift on it. I have never used one before and was wondering, other than lifting the regular attachements...plows, blowers, cutting deck. How much lifting power do they have ? What else can they lift ? Thnx for any help

ehertzfeld 1 Posted December 30, 2006 Herm, I put one together last year. It work well, but the way I mounted the cylinder, wasn't the best. Here is the post about it. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=55941&SearchTerms=hydro
RHA 0 Posted December 30, 2006 I don't know how much lifting power they have, but I know if I place a 4x4 under my snow blower blade and put the blower down it will lift the front end of my B-110 off the ground.
tractormike 0 Posted December 30, 2006 I have 2 tractors with the hydro lift, B-12 allis and the 2010 simplicity. I really like it for using the front and mid mount grader blades. You can get enough down pressure to lift the front of the tractor off of the ground. I want to build a small front bucket that I can use on these tractors for moving dirt around and think the hydro lift will be great for that.
MPH 12 Posted January 9, 2007 One of the oem B series lift will not bolt onto a 725 as there is no 'firewall' behind the engine like the Landlord and thereafter have. You have to mount according to your own disign.
Tom Deutsch 0 Posted January 9, 2007 I cobbled together a front hitch for mine, from a snow plow, minus the plow, with a hole drilled in the plate where you mount the blade and a ball attached. Real redneck setup, sticks out about 2 feet in front of the tractor. Definitely not proper. Hooked my brother-in-law's boat (19' SeaRay) to it and lifted it with the hydraulic lift to pull it out of the barn. Probably wasn't the smartest move, but I never worry about the weight of the clay sticking to my tiller!:D
plastikosmd 1,002 Posted January 9, 2007 got a redneck setup here to...now have added a real hydro lift..but had a pump mounted at central pto..and narrowed a plow frame and bolted it up..worked great. fun to look at old pics of machine..and the condition i got it in..best 50 bucks ive spent in a while
