Fitment question

Wondering if the round 30" deck(1690530)will fit a 72 Broadmoor 728?My 36" deck is getting pretty ruff overall and neighbor has an almost pristine 30" round deck he"says" came off an 8 or 10hp tractor he sold yrs back w/tiller.

I would doubt it without a lot of fabricating. The deck you referenced fits the 3100 series rear engine riders. You should be able to find a good used deck as there were a lot of these produced. Watch on E-Bay or post a wanted in the classifieds here and you should get a hit. If you copy and paste the following link, it will show you what fits for the various models and mfg. numbers. Thanx,didn't look right either...in further conversation he "now" recalls it came off a used rider he bought for parts once,says he was confused :(
