Modified dozer hitch

Recommended Posts

Well I finally got to weld my hitch on my 46" dozer blade today. Welded the lift support 90 degrees to the hitch now I can use it on both my B series and 917H without hitting the hood. Seems like every time I needed to use it, I would have a different attachment on the tractor. This should take care of the problem.

"Seems like every time I needed to use it, I would have a different attachment on the tractor. " Good looking job of patching your problem, the solution is just get more tractors:D:D:D:D

Marty, I have 4 or 5 tractors around here that I could use it on, I just wanted to be able to use it on FDT`s or RBT`s when ever I needed it. It doesn`t snow in Michigan any more so I was thinking of selling it:D

I had a blade that I did the same thing with. I made it so it would fit either the FDT or the RBTs. Could even use the same lift rod on both. Just gave that blade to my oldest son for his 64 Landlord. That was a Wheel Horse blade anyway. I have a Bolens blade beside the garage which needs a little help to make it fit an AC or Simplicity. It'll get there.
