Broadmoor 717 restore project on again

This is a project I started a long time ago..in the process of cleaning out the barn I had allot of parts from this listed in the classifieds like the NOS 7hp short block motor..Sense it wasn't selling I decided to take all the parts out and get a picture of everything to sell as a package deal..While stacking things up my boy (age 10) said "wow that's a sweet looking tractor, can I have it to make a puller?" When he got his go kart 3 years ago he lost interest in this and so I was going to sell it..Now he wants to sell his go kart, LOL We started working on putting the thing together..Most all of it is painted and just needs new bolts and assembled..This is what we got done Sunday afternoon.. This picture is what we started with 3-4 years ago..

The hood and grille are just resting on the tractor as I didn't get the support cleaned up and painted..He wanted to see what it would look like though..

Didn't get allot done as I had 2 trip into town to get bolts..1st trip I got everything I needed but didn't check the boxes and when I got back the one box didn't have in it what it said it did..

Cool. neat to see your son has rekindled a tractor interest, should make some quality time spent learning together. Proves my thinking right, NEVER throw anything out, ya just never know.

Wow! That's looking nice.. BTW, I've added a source for Broadmoor 707 and 717 decals to the main site, if anyone's looking for some: http://simpletractors.com/parts/sources_for_decals.htm

Thanks for all the compliments guys..That help me spark interest in it again..Now I am kinda exited to get her done again.. Kent thanks for listing the decals on the main site..I had a sign shop make up mine and they look great..I sold several sets of them about 4 years ago..Only thing I see missing in his sets is the I.D. tags...I have them custom make each I.D. tag with your specific serial number on them..
