Got these puppies from Rustybore:D They are Carlisle Super Lug 4ply 26x12.00-12. I picked up 12x8.5 rims, in November. I mite have to make some type of spacer but they should look great on the 64 Landlord:D Now I just have to finish painting the rims.[:0]

Some mean looking meats Elon. You gonna have to put a smaller pulley on the tranny to slow you back down?

Well, I have a Hi/Low kit on it, so I'll see what it does. If not I have a few 10inch pulleys around here some were.:D

No, no, no!! You do not want to slow the tranny down - you want to add horsepower so she'll do what you want it to do at a faster speed! ;) Be sure to post if you have any problems getting those 4 plys to seat - I just put a set on my tractor and ended up buying tubes 'cause neither I nor the tire shop crew could get them to seat....

Elon, I have some 6" o.d. x 1" thick billet spacers I haven't machined yet. Let me know if you want me to make some for you. I had gotten these for duel wheel spacer flanges, but lost interest.

Elon, You will either have to space those wheels out from the tractor, or you will have to raise the fender pan, to make those tires fit. I had to raise the fender pan a couple inches just to get 23x10.5x12 tires to work on my 61 Wards. I also had to raise the fender pan to get the 26x12x12 tires to work on my AC713S. Sounds like you are prepared to do whatever is needed to get these tires to work. I did get more speed from the 713S with the 26x12 tires, but didn't notice a significant loss in power. It now runs about the same speed as a Sunstrand hydro. I checked it against Andy Lehoskay's 7790 last year at Spring Fling. Not enough change to need any modifications, unless you are doing heavy pulling with it. I'm surprised that Mel didn't make you put those tires on her puller.:D

Wonder if Carlie changed the super lug tire. Yours like too have a more sq lug angle then the 10.5's I have on the B-112. If mine weren't ut in the shed at 45 below I'd go count the # of lugs too as yours look to be closer together.

Marty, The angle on the 26x12 tires has always been different than the 23x10.50 tires. We all fussed about that when we were tractor pulling. In the smaller classes with the 10.50 tires, they just wouldn't bite like the 12s would in the heavier classes. The sharper angle on the smaller tires was better for shedding mud and loose dirt, but didn't bite as well on the good firm clay tracks that we usually ran on.

Ahh, thanks Rod. Guess I'll have to get bigger tractors or at least wider toys to use behind them.:):)

Marty, don't confuse my comment about higher weight classes. I was talking about the tire size, since the size of the tire allowed in pulling is related to the weight class that you are pulling in. Smaller classes allow 10.50s, while heavier classes allow 12s. It's not driver choice, it's the rules we pull by. Pullers will almost always run the largest tires allowed.
