bob1959
I got the hydro lift from a guy who said that it came off of a simplity 2012. The hoses had some wear and I had new ones made. The problem that comes to mind is that the b-112 that I want to install on has a longer frame and should the hoses from the value to cylinder be longer. I am waiting for some warm weather to tear it apart and don't want it waiting on hoses. I have printed everything that I can find on the subject but have not found anything on length of hoses for different models. These hoses do seem short compared to other pictures that I have seen. There is one listed on ebay right now that looks like the hoses are about 5 to 6 inches longer. Thanks
Kent
The difference in frame length is behind the Bevel Gear Box in the frame rails that hold the transmission. The hoses should fit. But be aware that these hoses don't have a lot of slack in them, so they must have the correctly angled fittings on the ends, you must position the cylinder correctly, and then route the hoses correctly.... Here's the Field Installation Manual for it: http://www.simpletractors.com/operation/hydraulics/hydraulic_lift.htm
D-17_Dave
AS Kent stated above the hoses must have the correct ends on them and when replacements are made they MUST be turned the correct angle or you'll use valuable hose length twisting the hoses to line up. John_RI
Hi Bob, I checked my 2012 manual against my 3012 manual and find the same part number for the hoses. As Kent & Dave indicate above it is very important that the ends are identical to the original - not just the angle of the fitting relative to the hose but maybe more important is the rotation angle of one fitting to the fitting at the opposite end of the hose. Good luck!
bob1959
I watch the guy make the hoses and he did put the same rotation on the hoses, so I should be OK. Thanks to all for the reply.
