TomSchmit 55 Posted February 5, 2007 Many of the bolts on older Simplicity and AC tractors have a cast-in(?) logo: an "R" with two bars under it. These appear to be regular grade 2 fasteners, but they sure are high quality. I save them and clean them up for re-use. Just our of curiosity, does anyone know who manufacturered these? TerryZ 0 Posted February 6, 2007 I heard that Simplicity used to use Cadmium plated hardware. Now that Cadmium is bad can you get the Rockford hardware yellow zinc plated?
