PatRarick 1 Posted February 6, 2007 Not trying to be a smart aleck, but there are too many variables to state a value. Location for example. Here, Allis is fairly hard to come by, and Simplicity is almost non-existant. I can usually pick them up for a song as there is no interest, but they are rare enough that if I can find one, I'll probably pay more to get it then those in an area where they are plentiful. There's also not nearly enough information. For example, is it an early, 9hp B-10 or late 10hp B-10? What's the condition of the tractor? Which plow? Turning plow, or dirt and snow plow? If it's a snow and dirt plow, is it the 42" or the 46"? Is it an Allis or Simplicity plow? What about the wagon? What is it? Allis or Simplicity? Brinly? Agri-fab? Even with the information, value is very hard to state. Simply put, what's it worth to YOU? What's it worth to the current owner? If you can come to a mutually agreeable price, then that's what it's worth.
Willy 2 Posted February 6, 2007 A lot of pricing of item 40 year old go's by condition, then if you find an amount he's satisfied with and your satisfied with, you have a good deal. But to say something is worth this much,is hard to do unless you can ck it out. I've paid as little as 50 bucks for a rough looking B-10 when I got it home and cleaned it up found out it was better than the Big-10 I was so proud of.and I've gone as high as $250 for an original Big-10 in very good shape. Not much help am I???:D

Plow = $25 - $75 Cultivator = If it is the original with both rear and mid-mount shoes, they can go quite high. If it is just the rear or an after market rear they will fall in the same range as the plow. Wagon = Is this the original A/C or Simplicity yard cart or an after market yard cart? $30 - $100. I have seen rusted John Deere carts go for over $400. B10 in running condition? $200 - $350 These are just my impressions on what I see listed here in the classifieds as well as on E-Bay. Again, a lot depends on condition and if it is original manufacturer or after market. In the end, you decide how much you want it, and then don't let anyone tell you otherwise as long as you get enjoyment from it. If he is asking you to make an offer, start low and negotiate. samson 1 Posted February 7, 2007 I have to agree with Willy, I paid 50 for one here in North Carolina but would pay upto 250 for another like the one I bought. Samson
