Kent 436 Posted February 13, 2007 The flap needs to cover the gap between the muffler and the air cleaner, and as close as you can get it to the air cleaner without rubbing or rattling... This not only helps block the snow off the carb linkage (and governor linkage) it holds some of the heat down there by preventing it from rising up through that gap... Does that make sense?
