TimJr 206 Posted February 15, 2007 Hi guys, I have been asked what the point gap and coil air gap are on an old Briggs model 19d. I either don't have a book that old, or at least can't find it. I would assume .020" on the points, and .010" on the coil, but I am not sure on that old one. Anybody know for sure? Thanks, Tim

FPL 0 Posted February 15, 2007 My old Briggs book says the armature air gap should be .022"--.026" for the 19D. You'r correct on the .020" for the points.
