Here she is in all her ugly glory!:D

This is the plow I got from Kent. I posted about it in Boney's post about cutting edges. This was worn down past the bolt holes for the edge. I had to weld on the new cutting edge and fabricate some new shoes.

Those shoes look a lot like the ones I cut off a 24 inch walkbehind blade for one my rockraking attempts with a grader blade.

Looks like it gets the job done. I also have a 46" blade worn past the bolt holes. Is your new wear edge replaceable? I haven't decided what I'll do to mine.

If I need to replace the edge, I'll have to cut it off or just weld a new one to the old.

The 46 inch spring trip I recently got was fited with a 3/8ths inch thick plate that the PO bolted in place of the original. I'm hoping it'll last the life of the blade.

Question for the group real fast. Elon, I noticed your trip blade doesnt have the little rubber bumpers on the top corners. Were these added to mine or are they just different years of manufacture? Just curious, never saw them on these blades before.

I agree, making them pretty doesn't make them run any better. I bet she pushes snow just as well as any of the shiny ones;)

Sean, I'm not sure what rubber stop your asking about. This is the only 46inch spring trip blade I've had. I have never noticed any rubber stops on any other blades. Thank for all the nice comments, she will feel better about her self now.:D I thin she was starting to get a complex with me calling her ugly:O:D
