dav 2 Posted February 25, 2007 not much in the orange and the yellow was mostly that I-H stuff but i did see two nice looking A-Cs here is one nice one; on the other end of the spectrum was this one; the club has shows in nov, jan, and feb these are big shows and cover the spectrum of tractors. unfortunatly, it seems that Simplicity and A-C must have been a northern thing as not too many are around here. when i do talk to the owners, they almost always brought their tractors with them when they moved down here; i sure did. B-16_IC 1,029 Posted February 25, 2007 That B-12 is sure pretty, nice to see. But that little RBT,sm00 is the hood actually rusted through or is that just a trick of my pessimistic bodyman's eyes?

dav 2 Posted February 25, 2007 yep, those spots show daylight right thru them. didnt talk to the owner so i dont know it's history. i think storm surge may be a factor in some stuff down here. i looked at 2 fiats as i need a parts car. both were rusted worse than anythingi ever saw in a scrapyard in New Hampshire. they had been submerged by one of the huricanes. i looked at a tractor last year, i think it was a 12 horse. i've forgotten what style it was except that it was not a Big Ten. it was so bad that the topof the gas tank was totally rusted out. it had a variable drive and a hydro but the motor was frozen and the rearend was half buried in the ground. none of the sheet metal was salvagable, no seat, steering, hood, rims. and he wanted $200. i laughed and walked.(i already have hydros on both myher and my tractors so i had no need)
