richp 0 Posted January 1, 2001 what do you guys use to keep your tire chains from coming off.(bungee cords, springs?)
Cal 0 Posted January 1, 2001 If the tire chains are correct size and installed as tight as possible they should not come off, but some do like to use bungee cords just remember toattach the cords with equal tension from at least 4equal points. Cal
FiremanRon 0 Posted January 1, 2001 The instructions for my tire chains said to let some air out, then install the chains, then air them back up till the chains were tight, or you reach the max pressure for the tire. There isn't much slack when you do it this way.
Kent 435 Posted January 2, 2001 When using a snowblade, do chains on the front tires really make a big difference, when the plow is angled, my wheels tend to slide.
