RayS
I picked up one of these today NOS minus the switch. Anybody know what type of switch and how much amperage it should beable to handle? Thanks Ray
DMedal
SPDT, center off, momentary. 20Amp would work, I wouldn't go any lighter than that. -Don
DMedal
see eBay # 190088378268 for a switch that should work. put it somewhere your foot won't kick it when getting in/out.
RayS
Thanks for the info. But isn`t that one for house wiring 125 VAC? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190088378268&ru=
DMedal
yes. but it will handle DC too. you get bigger arcs on higher voltage and DC, it should work fine. (electrical engineer here). Ebay has some really cool looking marine ones if you aren't looking for original look. search "SPDT momentary" and look in the stores. Those would even be waterproof I bet. -Don

UCD
SPDT (Single Pole Double throw) switches are available at most good parts stores. They run between $8.00 and $14.00. Get a metal one if you can as opposed to a plastic switch. The one on ebay is like what you want. DMedal
I forgot something. Don't forget the fuse. Should a wire get pinched it could save your tractor. -Don
SmilinSam
I usually also run a jumper wire from the tractor frame to the blower frame for a good ground. my 2 cents ayhow.
