Keep an eye on how much the points move, my 19d is very hard to adjust because the points plunger is worn (makes it shorter) so it is difficult to adjust. jh

i am just having the hardest time with the points:(! when i think i have it right it starts it runs low speed and high speed but when i stop put the trottle down to low it cuts out and wont start again so i wait awhile then it starts on full choke only what do i do anyone help the irishman

Hey Larry did you check to see if carb came loose or gasket is bad also check gas cap to see if cap is vented sounds like a fuel problem
