Building a pulling tractor

As Mike said, there are many variables in pulling. In other words, lots of things to play with. Just a word of advice, try to only change one thing at a time and see how that affects your tractor. If you change two things they can offset each other, and you won't know the affect of either. Remember that each tractor has it's own personality and no two will pull the same with the same setup. Running more than one tractor can both help and hurt your abilities to set each tractor up right. While multiple tractors teach you more about the track conditions on that day, what works on one will not always work good on another. Tractor pulling is fun, but it can be a lot of work to try to run and stay at the top.

We had 65 degrees this week and lost all of our snow. I feel a little touch of pulling flue coming on. Once you had the disease it reoccurs every spring. Watch out!
