PGL 416 Posted March 7, 2007 I am refurbishing the carburetor on the 23D engine for my B-10 as part of a rebuild. I have the carburetor apart to install new jets and tube and found the venturi has eroded or corroded away just above the throttle plate as you can see in the attached photos. I don't remember any postings on this. The air flow through the venturi should be smooth and the pitting would disturb it. I was thinking of cleaning it out a bit and putting in some JB Weld and smoothing it out with my finger. Any other suggestions?
