Briggs carburetor problem

My Briggs carburetor has a lot of wear around the throttle shaft. Will this cause a problem? Can it be fixed?

You can replace the throttl shaft and but bushing in it.

You can replace the top half of the carb. Briggs sells the top half as a separate part.

I put new bushings in my B1 carb. They were available from B/S.
