42" deck rollers - baffle assembly

I have already mis-posted the original post that this question was a part of....so my apologies. But I do have a legitimate tractor question....was there ever a 42" deck made that did NOT come equipped with the shaft and rollers under the deck in the baffle? If there is such a deck, then y'all will save me from eating a big fat crow sandwich. And despite being fed a good share of it in recent years....I hate crow....it eaves a bad taste in my mouth! 8)

I don't know of a 42 inch deck without those rollers, but there is a big difference in those rollers between the deep deck with left hand discharge or the shallow deck with right hand discharge.

Hi, Not sure, but it seems to me when they changed the housing in the 80s to the new stamping and the splined arbors, the part # changed for the baffle also. No major change. I have never seen a deck without these anti-scalp rollers. Al Eden
