I'd say Panzer, does the rear axle look like a shortened car rear axle. I heard that Panzers used shortened car axles (from Dodge). JH

Could it be a Tiger. I saw one on ebay once and this one definatley matches the clunky look it had. Kind of a cross between an old speedex and panzer.

Might be an old Economy- looks like an offset on the front end like they had, but hard to tell from the pic's.

here is the latest from over at another board. qoute..... I have a couple of these. One of them is Midland (I think that it is a pup) and the other one is badged as a Montgomery Wards Garden Mark. I also have a 59 Wards catalog that shows it. Midland was making walk behind tractors for Wards for years and I think that this was the first riding garden tractor that wards sold.

It's not an Economy. They never made any with the engine mounted sideways. One thought I had was a Porter-Cable, but I recall their hood/grilles were a bit narrower. Interesting find...Oh duh, just saw the previous post, already ID'd!
