Willy 2 Posted March 17, 2007 Well now that the snow is all gone I finally got a snow thrower. I also picked up a tiller complete except for the 8" pulley. Now if I can figure the tiller out maybe I can till my garden. MPH 12 Posted March 18, 2007 Nice going Jim, look at it this way, if your like most of us seem to be, by next winters 2nd or 3rd snow you should have the blower ready to go.:D That tiller don't look like it has seen too much time in the dirt, tines look real good. Willy 2 Posted March 18, 2007 Thanks guys for the info, tiller is in very good shape, the snow thrower is to other than rust,it was stored outside. I plan on mounting the tiller right away,so it's ready when the ground drys up. I have a little more pressing project tho,I want to recover my lawn vac trailer I plan on covering it with sheet metal. I'll have to check with my local heating and cooling man to see if I can pick-up the material I need. I'll let you know how it work out. ehertzfeld 1 Posted March 18, 2007 Jim, please take a bunch of pictures of the trailer cover you make. I want to do the same thing this summer.
Kent 436 Posted March 18, 2007 Make sure you leave plenty of venting for airflow, when you recover your trailer. IMO, you need about half of the rear door to be mesh such as window screen wire, in order to get adequate airflow....
Willy 2 Posted March 18, 2007 I'll take plenty of pictures,I want to play around with a pop-up vent on top,and I can always cut another opening if need be. I built a spray unit a couple years ago, when I get that mounted on the trailer I post some pix of it.
